Fall Family Mini-Session, Delaware - Shaun, Holly, & Alex

So happy to post this lovely couples photos on the blog.  I graduated with Holly in High School and thanks to the wonderful world of Facebook, we have been able to keep tabs on each others lives.  You know, facestalking...  ;)

I noticed how extra happy Holly has been since meeting the wonderful Shaun.  She even said to me that just when she had given up, there came along Shaun into her life.  So sweet.

I also had the pleasure of photographing Shaun's beautiful daughter, Alex during this session, for some pretty amazing Daddy & Daughter shots as well.

The happy and adorable couple.
The sun was shining through the trees at just the right moment.  So gorgeous.

Here is Shaun's pride and joy, Alex.

Just so sweet.

Happy Genes?  I say it is so!!
Loved Holly's flats!

Another one with that gorgeous sun peeking through the trees.

The beautiful essential fall family photo.
Sorry Shaun but I love the blanket.  ;)

Love the smile on his face.

Holly, thank you for sharing Shaun and his beautiful daughter with me.  So happy we were little adventurers in the woods for the evening.  I had a great time and you even witnessed me being the spaz that I can be. ;)

Delaware Engagement - Bob & Rebecca

All I can say about these photos is that they made my job so easy by being so happy in love and a gorgeous couple to boot!
I'm so excited for the both of them.

Love the way he looks at her.

I LOVE this so much!
And being that Rebecca made it, makes it just that much more special.

Those eyes.  I DIE.

Just had to show off that sparkler of hers again. Good Job Bob! ;)

Love love love the way he makes her laugh.  It's beyond adorable.

You two are just a GORGEOUS couple. For real.

I'm melting.  Give me some marshmallows already and
let's sing love songs around the campfire.

Ok, I have to leave this with another one of him making her laugh.  <3

I seriously wish you two absolute happiness and love in your future together. So happy that I was the one to capture these photos for you.
I had a great time guys!

A November Sunset

I've been a busy little bee today! Trying to get caught up on here.

Sipping a nice cup of sleepytime tea hoping it helps Rocco sleep better later on too.  Short end of long story. Baby boy is cutting teeth.  We do NOT sleep very well during this time.  But it's ok because I honest to goodness enjoy every bit and morsel of this little boy.

I seriously die every time he just looks into my eyes.

Rocco, I want you to know that you can do anything you set your mind to.
I support and love you, unconditionally. Forever. Love, Mom

Senior Portrait Session, Felton, Delaware - Jessica

So happy to blog about my first official Senior portraits.  Jessica, a Lake Forest High School Senior, couldn't be any more bubbly and sweet than she already is.  And goofy to boot!  This girl is going to set the town on fire!  I will be watching this one.  She is going to do BIG things. I'm rooting for you Jess!

Don't stop being goofy Jess.  It looks good on you!  ;P

Fall time and a little bitty clown

Ok, before it gets too late I better post our lovely little Halloween and Fall photos of our little Rocco.  I have way too much fun with this boy.  He melts my heart. Even right now as I am trying to post this, squirming and whining to get up, pulling the baby hairs at the back of my neck, scratching at my face, YEP, it's love. ;)

I had to do it, I saw it on Pinterest, and thought why not??

I just can't get enough of him and the pumpkin.  I think they turned out fabulously well.

Ok, now on to Halloween...

Trick or Treat, Smell my adorable big feet!

I just love the look on his face here.

Can I just tell you how hard it is to put lipstick on an almost 6 month old.
My husband told me he looked like a cheap hooker.
My poor child.
You think he will ever forgive me later on in life?

Fall 2013 Travels

We took a lovely drive leaving our home in Delaware to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.  The best thing about our road trips, NOTHING is planned! We just sort of knew where we wanted to go and only booked one night in Massachusetts for the first nights stay.  After that it is all up in the air! And that for me is the beauty of it all.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Rocco was mesmerized by the fall leaves.

One of my favorites of the two of us.  White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Love my little family.  Even when my husband poses like his hand has been eaten by a bear.

And this one just because I loved Burlington, Vermont so much!

Can not wait to go back up north! It's so beautiful and just refreshing up there!
