My cousin, Dianna - Felton, Delaware

I don't even know where to begin with my cousin, Dianna.  She's a whole lot to handle and if you looked up competitive in the dictionary, her picture would be there, and she is too smart for her own good. But when you peel back her many layers, she is a huge softy. And she loves my son Rocco so much. She refers to Rocco as her "perfect boy." The love she has for him makes me love her that much more.

I enjoy what time I get to spend with her when she is not busy with law school studies. (I tell you what, she is going to be one TOUGH lawyer.  No joke.  Glad she is on our side. Oh, she is going to be that pretty one too.)  So as soon as she had some time in between exams, we snuck in a little photo shoot to surprise her mom with at Christmas.  I've been waiting to post these photos because I knew Aunt Connie checks my blog, as I did not want to spoil the surprise. ;)

Dianna also brought along their dog Bailey. Such a great boy!

Of course I have to put one of Rocco and her in front of our Christmas tree in the mix. "Hey, perfect boy" - as she would say.

Dianna, I just want you to know how much I truly do believe in you. Never waver when the moments get to be too much. Just keep focused on the end result.   Proud of you and love you.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family at Happy Genes Photography!!

It's Rocco's 1st Christmas and with that said, it means all kinds of fun exploring with photography with our little model. But for now I will leave you with these few photos on Christmas Eve that we thoroughly enjoyed taking of our sweet guy.

Rocco is mesmerized by the glowing of lights.

Waiting for Santa

Santa had his midnight snack and left Rocco his gift.

Tomorrow is the big day.  But honestly the fun of Christmas is all the days leading up to the holiday.  The excitement peaks tonight.

Stayed tuned for more Christmas photos of our cutie-patootie.

Merry Christmas!

Schreppler's Fir Tree Acres, Magnolia, Delaware

Just wanted to take some time to thank Schreppler's Fir Tree Acres for allowing me to set up Christmas Tree photo sessions this holiday season.  Mr. Schreppler and his family takes such amazing care of his trees. They are absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend them.

Always consider supporting your local tree farm during the Christmas season.  They put a lot of hard work and dedication into growing the perfect tree for your home.

They are open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Christmas Eve.

Delaware Christmas Tree Farm - Brooklyn & Bronx

Talk about a high energy photo session! This was one of those! It was too much fun watching Brooklyn chase her adorable son, Bronx, all over the tree farm.  He is super fast until he bites the dust! We were on a go, go, go shot format for this one, if not, I would have missed it all.

Brooklyn is just the sweetest and an amazing mother to her little boy. This was another session where it was extremely hard to pin point which photos I wanted to show. Just too many cute moments.  Enjoy!

 Snowflakes were a huge hit!

Brooklyn, you are beautiful, inside and out.

This little boy loves you mama.

For some reason this picture just makes me turn to mush. Rocco turned me into mush. Blame Rocco. Just love the look of pure love and happiness on her face.

Snowflake party! He is just too da*n cute. I can't take it.

Being a mom looks good on you, Brooklyn. :)

See what happens when you tell a little boy to hold a plate of cookies and not eat them.  This was all him. Adorable.

 Just alike. Goofy. ;)

I just want to eat him up. Big scoop of Bronxy-boy.

Brooklyn, You are doing an amazing job of raising your spunky, energetic, sweet baby boy. He is just too cute for words. You are a beautiful mom.  So happy we were able to meet. I left your session even more blessed than before. Thank you!

Happy Snowy Day!

What a beautiful day today was! Our first gorgeous serene snow day.  Just a nice dusting on the ground and trees. I mean I could go for a lot more but it was just enough to make a beautiful day, so I'm a happy girl. Of course we had our lil Roc-star outside for just a few minutes to snap a few photos.

We hope for many more too! :)

His first "sleigh" ride, don't think it was made for this but hey Roc seemed to love it.

He also enjoys chewing his hat straps.
Oh, and see the tree behind him, that's our living Christmas tree that we purchased locally, put it inside, decorated it, and then freaked because we thought we were killing it so we took it back outside!

Delaware Christmas Tree Farm - The Larimore Family

Next up on the Christmas Tree Farm is this awesome family! The Larimore Family. I am just so happy Susie called me to set up their session. We had a blast and they couldn't be any nicer of a family.

The Larimore Family - one good looking family or what?!?

The Dad & Mom that started it all - Pat & Susie

Their three children, Rachel, Ben, & Ashlie

 Ashlie & her husband Tommy

Ben - this smile looks good on you!

Rachel & her fiance Robert

These two are just adorable. Ashlie you are beautiful!

The handsome son, Ben

I'm a sucker for laughter and Robert knows how to make Rachel laugh.

These guys know how to have fun. Even Dad was running through the trees! ;)
Even the tree farm owner, Paul, couldn't help but to get in on the fun.

Ok, I had to leave with one more jump photo. They just crack me up.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I busted up laughing (usually at a certain somebody...cough cough...Robert) while editing their session. Tons of fun. So happy I got to meet this family. I hope to see you guys again in the future!
