Rocco is such a NERD

Happy almost Halloween from this little nerd!

We are so excited to be heading to Las Vegas for Halloween this year!
Rocco will be trick or treating in LAS VEGAS! Plus we get see friends that we haven't gotten to spend time with in over a year. I'm sure it will be a good time all around! Ok, so I have another costume planned but I'm not sure if he will go for the wig yet.
Guess we will see!!

For now, I will leave you guys with this Nerdy Halloween costume! Oh, one of the reasons I went with this costume is because I wanted to incorporate the addition of his glasses this year. His glasses are EVERYTHING to him. They have really changed what he sees of the world!

Be safe out there kids! Enjoy your Halloween this weekend!

Rocco's Poppin' Party - He's TWO!!

Rocco’s

Poppin’ Party

On Saturday, May 2nd our family and friends all gathered together at my grandparents house to celebrate Rocco's 2nd Birthday!! I decided to base the theme for Rocco's party on the immense love he has for popcorn! From there it spun into all things that POP! From blow pops, to pop rocks, to cake pops, soda pop....I think you get the idea! I even put bubble wrap on each guests chair and made bubble wrap table runners for them to join in on the poppin' theme! I mean who doesn't love bubble wrap! So here are a few photos from Rocco's Poppin' Party!

A bounce house that says Pop! on In! and life-size popcorn box with balloons and bubbles to pop!

Of course we had to update last years Honk for the Birthday Boy sign! It's always so nice to hear the horns blowing as the cars and trucks pass by!

Rocco was loving being chauffeured around by his buddy Gabe!

Morgan and Rocco having riding on the red neck wagon.

Blowing out the candles, I totally thought Rocco blew them out by himself until I looked back through the photos!!

Let's talk about this handsome man and that DIMPLE!?!

Our beautiful nieces Amber and Rihanna!

Opening up birthday presents!!

A beautiful gift of craftsmanship from his Uncle George and Aunt Alyce. Uncle George made this wooden monster truck by hand. It's gorgeous!

We are so thankful and so appreciative of every person that celebrated Rocco's big day with us! Every sweet message was read to the birthday boy! Time and time again you guys all blow me away for the amount of love you have for this little guy!

Day Trippin' to DC

Hello!! Why have I not known how easy it was to access Washington DC before now?!?! I never knew that it was that easy to access the city before now.  From Delaware, drive to New Carrolton, MD, park in the lot or garage right at the station, buy an $8 round trip ticket into the city on the Orange line, get off on the Smithsonian metro stop. Boom. You're there! Oh and on weekends parking is free at the lot at the train station. HELLO. I'm seriously mad I never knew it was this easy and cost efficient. Ever just need a little escape from the mundane, bada bing, DC is your place!  I have just fallen in love with the city. The Smithsonian Museums are free of charge, the National Zoo is free of charge, again HELLO?!? Rocco always just sits back and enjoys the ride. A good side note...wear your walking shoes.

The flower Rocco picked for me. <3

Have fun and Happy Spring!!
